Should women wear bikinis?

My daughter sent me a link to this video and I think it is worth posting. Women need to rethink what they wear, because of what it does to men. Most women don't appreciate the fact that men react differently to these things than women do. The attitude is that men should not see women as objects; however the science shows that they can't help but do just that when clothing is sparse.

This is fascinating! I showed it to Patrick and really liked it too. I thought it was so interesting that there is a study to confirm neurologically that a woman who dresses modestly appears to be in control. I really feel inspired by that.

I remember reading a book a few years ago that was well-done but with a silly title ("Christian Courtship in an Over-sexed World"). It was written by a priest. In it he recounts how he was speaking at a Young Woman's group when he mentioned that bikinis were inappropriate. One woman took objection and said "Don't you think that's a little radical?" and he responded, "Isn't the Gospel itself?"

i think that women should feel empowered by this. i think that my mind works like a guy's as well. i find it very hard to see a woman's face when all i can see is her body.
