Couple awarded 4.5 million for disabled child

Well, they were awarded half of what they claimed for, given the fact that doctors and techs did not read the ultrasounds correctly. If they had, they would have told the couple their baby boy would be born with no arms and only one leg.

... and had they known of their unborn son’s disabilities before he was born, they would have aborted him.

Well, that's just great for the little guy, isn't it? Your parents don't want you, because you are defective. Tell that to Nick Vujicic.

I know of another gentleman like the one you featured in this post. He is an amazing singer named Thomas Quasthoff whose mother took thalidomide during her pregnancy. He's one of the best bass-baritones in the world but has hardly any arms and shrunken legs. The shape of the body doesn't determine the strength of the soul or the size of the talent.
